Ty Storey’s time in Fayetteville is officially over.

It has been known for some time that the former Arkansas quarterback was on his way out of Fayetteville but until Wednesday, it was unclear of where Storey was planning to finish out his collegiate career. We now know Storey is headed to Western Kentucky to play for former Tennessee offensive coordinator Tyson Helton.

Interestingly enough, Western Kentucky travels to Arkansas on Nov. 9.

Storey finishes his Arkansas career after throwing for 1,587 yards, 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He completed just over 56 percent of his passes as a Razorback with nearly all of his time on the field occurring last season under Chad Morris. While very few things went right for the Razorbacks on the field last season, Storey was the team’s best option under center for Morris and his offensive coaches in 2018 but he couldn’t consistently stay on the field due to injuries.

Since the end of last season, Arkansas has added SMU graduate transfer quarterback Ben Hicks and is currently looking to potentially add Texas A&M graduate transfer quarterback Nick Starkel to the roster this offseason.
