Could the Arkansas football program soon be adding another Morris?

One of the more interesting aspects of the Razorbacks’ upcoming recruiting class will be the recruitment of Chandler Morris, who is, of course, the son of head coach Chad Morris. It’s not often that father and son coach/quarterback duos work well at the collegiate level but Arkansas fans shouldn’t be concerned that Morris is being recruited by the Razorbacks simply because of who his father happens to be.

Chandler, who stayed in Texas after his dad took the Arkansas job, is currently the starting quarterback for Texas powerhouse high school program Highland Park in Dallas. Last season, Morris threw for over 4,000 yards, 46 touchdowns to six interceptions and led Highland Park to its third consecutive state championship and picked up offers from Clemson, Auburn and Arkansas along the way. Now Morris had landed an official invitation to the Elite 11 Finals.

The 6-foot, 170-pound Morris currently ranks as a three-star prospect and the nation’s No. 25 dual-threat quarterback prospect in the nation according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. He recently visited Oklahoma, with his father, on an unofficial visit.

Would you be in favor of Arkansas signing Chad Morris’ son in the 2020 recruiting cycle?
