Former Mizzou DL Sheldon Richardson spent the 2018 season with the Minnesota Vikings, starting all 16 games and recording 49 tackles and 4.5 sacks.

That was enough to get him noticed by the Cleveland Browns, who are now reportedly giving him a longer deal with a lot of guaranteed money.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Richardson is expected to sign a 3-year, $39 million contract with the Browns when the league year officially begins on March 14:

The Browns, for the first time in a long time, are in “win now” mode. Richardson will join a defensive line that features former No. 1 overall pick Myles Garrett out of Texas A&M.

In his six NFL seasons, Richardson has played for the New York Jets, Seattle Seahawks and Minnesota Vikings, recording 333 total tackles and 23.5 sacks.
