The Mississippi State Bulldogs are off to a strong start with their 2020 recruiting class, and that continued on Saturday.

The newest addition to the team’s class is a former Florida State defensive end who spent last season at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

As you can see below, ex-Seminole Tre Lawson announced via Twitter that he would be heading to Starkville next fall:

Lawson has yet to be rated by the major recruiting services as part of the 2020 class, but back when he was a Florida State commit out of high school in 2017, he was a 3-star defensive end, per the 247Sports composite.

Lawson was kicked off the Seminoles’ team after a fight during practice last year.

Mississippi State’s 2020 class now has nine players. Prior to Lawson’s commitment, the class ranked No. 8 in the nation and No. 4 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
