In the eyes of many coaches, spring games are about having fun. Coaches don’t want to give anything away, so the offense is usually vanilla, but scoring plays are virtually guaranteed to keep the fans happy.

For Oklahoma fans, OU’s spring game was all about seeing grad transfer Jalen Hurts run coach Lincoln Riley’s high-powered offense. Hurts went 11-14 passing for 174 yards and a touchdown along with five rushes for 12 yards and a TD, per the team site. Hurts revealed he can have a bit more fun as a Sooner when it comes to celebrating.

The gif below shows Hurts and his teammates doing the popular “group photo pose” end zone celebration. He revealed that taking part in a celebration like that would have gotten in trouble at Alabama.

It will be interesting to see if we get to see more of Hurts’ fun side at OU.
