The NFL scouting community lost one of the good guys. Deeply saddened to hear about the passing of @49ers scout Reggie Cobb. Reggie and I were rookie scouts with the @Redskins together in ‘01 and he was always fun to be around. Scouts will miss his infectious laugh. RIP, Reg. 🙏

Cobb ran for 2,360 yards and 26 touchdowns, adding three more touchdowns as a receiver while playing for the Vols from 1987 to 1989. He was a second-round pick in the 1990 NFL Draft, spending seven years in the league.
With the 2019 NFL Draft starting Thursday, we’ll see if the 49ers have any plans to honor Cobb.
