All seven rounds of the 2019 NFL Draft came and went, and Mizzou WR Emanuel Hall didn’t hear his name called.

That was very surprising, since he was one of the top receivers in the SEC when he was healthy during the 2018 season, often hooking up with QB Drew Lock on impressive deep passes.

It wasn’t in the cards, though, and neither was reconnecting with Lock as a free agent. Hall announced on Twitter shortly after the draft finished that he was signing with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent:

He added a tweet in which he said he’s not discouraged at all and is looking forward to making it seem ridiculous that he wasn’t drafted:

Can he be the next Phillip Lindsay and make the Pro Bowl this coming season? That’s what the undrafted Denver running back did in 2018.
