Professional journeyman Damontre Moore will have to find a new home in the NFL.

Following his collegiate playing career in College Station, Moore has experienced a tough go of it finding a long-term home in the NFL and that search continues as the San Francisco 49ers have just announced they have released the former Aggie standout.

Moore played in the now-defunct AAF before being signed by the 49ers last month but the team has already waived him in order to sign defensive back Alex Brown. Brown is an undrafted rookie free agent from South Carolina State.

During Moore’s NFL career, he has now spent time with the Giants, Dolphins, Raiders, Seahawks,  Cowboys and 49ers. He entered the league as a third-round selection in the 2013 NFL Draft by the Giants.

For his professional career, Moore has 77 tackles and 10 sacks.
