Florida lands commitment from 4-star 2020 ATH out of Louisiana
The Florida Gators had a rough go of it on the recruiting trails a couple of weeks ago, but their luck is turning around this weekend.
After landing a 3-star tight end from Tampa on Saturday, the Gators added a commitment from a 4-star athlete out of Baton Rouge on Sunday.
As you can see in the Twitter post below, DB/WR Joel Williams announced he was committing to the Gators for the 2020 season and beyond:
I’ll never look back…I’m trying to feed my family forever….

Per the 247Sports composite, Williams is the No. 13 athlete in the class of 2020 and the No. 9 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana.
The Gators now have 12 players in their 2020 class. Prior to his commitment, that class ranked No. 7 in the nation and No. 4 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
