The Georgia Bulldogs are anxiously awaiting the decision of F Nicolas Claxton, who is testing the NBA Draft waters.

He’s played well during the buildup to the draft, but he’s taking his time deciding whether to keep his name in the draft or return to Georgia for another season.

However, he recently commented on Georgia’s incoming recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 9 in the country and No. 3 in the SEC, according to 247Sports. He said he’d love to come back and play with those guys (via 247Sports):

“I’m definitely in a win-win situation,” he said. “There’s a great recruiting class coming in that coach Crean and his staff have got coming in, so I would love to go back and play with those guys. But also, the NBA is my dream, it’s something that I’ve been dreaming about since I was four years old. So if the situation is right for me, then I’ll keep my name in the draft.”

It’s not a done deal yet, but at least Claxton is considering his options.

Playing with G Anthony Edwards, the No. 2 prospect in the 2019 class, will be a big selling point for the Dawgs and coach Tom Crean.
