Joe Moorhead isn’t done adding instant impact players to his Mississippi State roster as the Bulldogs just landed another graduate transfer that appears poised to fill a position of need in the MSU program.

Mississippi State recently added former Penn State quarterback Tommy Stevens as a graduate transfer and now he’ll have the opportunity to throw to Isaiah Zuber, who just announced he will finish his collegiate career in Starkville. Zuber previously played for Kansas State and is also a graduate transfer.

In his three seasons of play for the Wildcats, Zuber had 127 receptions for 1,321 yards and 11 touchdowns. His 127 catches are the eighth most in Kansas State school history. He appeared in all 12 games for KSU last season, starting nine contests. Zuber also has experience returning kicks if Mississippi State wants to use him in that role next season.

There’s a chance Zuber enters fall camp as Mississippi State’s No. 1 receiver as Osirus Mitchell led the Bulldogs in catches with 26 with only 427 receiving yards. Stephen Guidry led the team in receiving yards with 440. Zuber’s numbers the previous two seasons were better than any receiver on MSU’s roster in 2017 or 2018.

“I appreciate everything KState has done for me and the opportunity they gave me,” Zuber tweeted out when he announced his decision. “Thank you to all the fans, my teammates and coaches that believed in me! For my last year in collegiate football, I’m coming back South to play at Mississippi State! Thanks for the love! #HailState”

If you’ve never seen Zuber play, here’s a highlight of his performance for Kansas State last season:
