Report: Clippers not interested in trading former Kentucky PG Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, not even for Anthony Davis
After taking former Kentucky PG Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with the No. 11 overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft, the Los Angeles Clippers are thrilled with the progress the young guard has made.
In fact, they’ve basically told teams that SGA is off the table with any potential trades this offseason.
Per ESPN’s Bobby Marks, the Clippers aren’t even interested in trading SGA in a deal for former Kentucky big man Anthony Davis:

That’s a huge sign of respect for Gilgeous-Alexander, who averaged 10.8 points, 3.3 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game. He appeared in all 82 games for the Clippers during the regular season, starting 73 of them.
It seems he’ll remain in Los Angeles for the foreseeable future, and the Clippers may give him an even bigger role next year.
