Report: Michael Porter Jr. suffers injury, unlikely to play during NBA Summer League
Just win you thought former Mizzou F Michael Porter Jr. was about to make his professional debut for the Denver Nuggets, think again.
According to a report on Thursday, Porter is expected to miss the Las Vegas Summer League after suffering an injury.
Per Mike Singer of the Denver Post, Porter sprained his left knee during a scrimmage on Wednesday night and isn’t expected to play for the Nuggets this summer:

That’s obviously disappointing news for the 2018 first-round pick, who has yet to play a game for the Nuggets after recovering from a back injury last season.
The Nuggets are obviously playing things safe with Porter, but this injury isn’t expected to keep him sidelined during the regular season at all.
