Malik Heath was a commitment for the Mississippi State Bulldogs during the 2018 recruiting cycle, but had to go the JUCO route instead.

Now, entering his second year at Copiah-Lincoln Community College, Heath has decided to rejoin the Bulldogs as part of their 2020 class.

As you can see below, the 4-star JUCO receiver announced his decision via Twitter on Saturday:

Someone may need to have a talk with Heath about what “committed” means, because him tweeting that “everything still open tho” is exactly the opposite of being “committed.”

Coach Joe Moorhead welcomed Heath to the MSU family with a tweet shortly thereafter:

Per the 247Sports composite, Heath is the No. 1 JUCO receiver in the class of 2020 and the No. 2 overall JUCO prospect from the state of Mississippi.

The Bulldogs now have 23 players in the 2020 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 17 in the country and No. 7 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
