News broke Tuesday night that Alabama RB Brian Robinson is expected to miss the first half of the Crimson Tide’s season opener against Duke in Atlanta as one of four players suspended. He appears to be speaking about the suspension.

“One mistake doesn’t define you, how you respond to it shows your true character! #3Days⌛️ #RollTide🐘” Robinson wrote.

Robinson’s tweet does not contain the word suspension, but the fact that he had not posted on the social media platform since Aug. 12 and references a “mistake,” it got the attention of media members and UA football fans.

On Wednesday’s SEC media teleconference, Alabama coach Nick Saban was asked about the reports of four players being suspended for the Duke game.

“We’re not commenting on any of this stuff. This is misinformation. It’s an internal family affair,” Saban said.

Robinson and others are reportedly suspended for missing a team function.
