Missouri landed a commitment for its 2020 class on Monday from an in-state defensive lineman.

Jalen Logan-Redding thanked God, his coaches and supporters for helping him along the way. The 3-star prospect from Columbia, Missouri (Rock Bridge) reportedly had 15 offers before the commitment. He is ranked the No. 28 weakside defensive end in the country, and the No. 13 player in Missouri, according to the 247Sports Composite.

“Last but not least, I want to thank my family for all the sacrifices they did to help me grow into the person I am today,” he said in an announcement posted to Twitter. “From the long drives to camps and universities, to the money they spent to keep me fed, clothed, and in the classroom. I know dealing with me throughout the years in the house, on the football field and in the classroom could be a pain for you guys. Just know that I love you, more than you can imagine, no matter what happens.”

Missouri’s class is ranked No. 13 in the SEC, and No. 47 in the country, according to 247Sports.
