The Kentucky Wildcats host No. 9 Florida on Saturday night in Lexington, looking to make it two wins in a row vs. the Gators.

However, the Wildcats are without starting QB Terry Wilson, who suffered a season-ending knee injury last weekend.

On SportsCenter on Saturday morning, analyst Tim Tebow explained how new QB Sawyer Smith and the Wildcats can still extend their winning streak vs. the Gators:

“Well, they got to take care of their young quarterback Sawyer Smith. He’s had some experience playing at Troy; it’s a whole new level playing against a Todd Grantham coached defense that’s going to be pressuring him side-to-side. Where he’s going to need help is his running back Kavosiey Smoke — one of the best names in college football. This kid is explosive. He makes people miss. He has to be a playmaker in this game.

“Also, look for Lynn Bowden, the slot receiver, to take some snaps at quarterback to give Sawyer a little bit of a breather. So, he can come in and run Wildcat, and last week, he even had a throw to Terry Wilson. So, that could be a changeup for Kentucky to help give them a chance in this game.”

As Tebow mentioned, Todd Grantham’s defenses are aggressive, so Smith will have his work cut out for him.

Saturday night’s game kicks off at 7 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on ESPN.
