The No. 17 Texas A&M Aggies face a big test this weekend in their SEC opener. Coming to town are the No. 8 Auburn Tigers.

Texas A&M’s defense has been beaten up in recent weeks, but there’s good news on that front, according to coach Jimbo Fisher.

During his Monday news conference, Fisher said he expects starting DL Jayden Peevy to be back in action (via AL.com):

“Peevy should be practicing, should be good,” Fisher said. “He could’ve probably played in the game Saturday, and we had him on standby. He should be healthy and ready to go, just had a couple nicks and knacks, and we were able to hold him right there.”

Fisher added that he expects DB Elijah Blades to be healthy again, too:

“Elijah should be ready to go, ready to practice and everything going into today.”

Saturday’s game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on CBS.
