Things weren’t looking great for the Alabama Crimson Tide early in Saturday’s game against LSU.

A fumble, a penalty that wiped out an interception and a number of missed blocks helped LSU take a 10-0 lead. However, special teams plays can swing games in a hurry, and that’s what happened late in the first quarter.

As you can see below, Alabama punt returner Jaylen Waddle fielded a kick, shook off a missed facemask penalty and sprinted all the way to the end zone:

That cut the score to 10-7 LSU and sparked the Alabama fans in attendance out of their disbelief at how the first few drives went.

Waddle is a special return man, and his electric play has managed to give new life to the Crimson Tide.
