Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa entered Saturday’s game against Mississippi State nursing an ankle injury.

Many felt Mac Jones should have played against the Bulldogs, but Tagovailoa got the start instead. He played well, leading the Tide to a 35-7 lead in the second quarter.

However, disaster then struck late in the second quarter, as Tua went down with what appeared to be a re-injured ankle and a bloody nose:

That had fans upset with coach Nick Saban. Why, they wondered, was Tua in with a 28-point lead? Many took to Twitter to express their frustration:

How badly is Tua injured this time? You can bet Saban will face a number of questions about the decision to leave him in the game in his postgame press conference.
