Where will Tigers turn? First Missouri coaching odds released
The University of Missouri fired head coach Barry Odom Saturday morning.
After four years of leading Mizzou, Odom finished 25-25 overall, including 13-19 in SEC play. That’s just not going to cut it, and the Tigers moved quickly despite Odom’s team beating rival Arkansas Friday afternoon.
Missouri started red hot at 5-1 in 2019; however, it finished just 6-6 on the season. The Tigers will not play in a bowl game due to the NCAA upholding the ban.
So, where will Missouri turn now? It needs a somewhat splashy hire to inject some recruiting momentum into the program. Missouri isn’t Texas or Florida, and it will have to go out of state to reel in prospects.
CBS SportsLine has released the initial odds for the job. Leading the odds is Boise State head coach Bryan Harsin. Former Tigers offensive coordinator Josh Huepel is also included on the odds, as is FAU head coach Lane Kiffin.
Who will be the next head football coach at Missouri?
Bryan Harsin +200
Blake Anderson +400
Josh Huepel +500
Lane Kiffin +700
Willie Fritz +800
Mike Norvell +1000
Joe Brady +1200
Luke Fickell +1500Via @SportsLine Oddsmakers

The Early Signing Period is just a couple weeks away, and we expect Missouri to move rather quickly.
