The Florida State Seminoles fired coach Willie Taggart before he finished his second season at the helm of the program.
Now, Taggart’s journey through the college coaching ranks continues. Since 2016, Taggart has been the head coach at USF, Oregon and Florida State. Now, he’s adding a new stop to his list.
Per Bruce Feldman, Taggart is going to replace Lane Kiffin as the head coach at Florida Atlantic:

Taggart went 9-12 during his brief time at Florida State. He has a career head coaching record of 56-62. He’ll have his work cut out for him replacing Kiffin at FAU.
Under Kiffin, the Owls have won 2 of the last 3 Conference USA titles and have 2 10-win seasons. Can Taggart continue that success?
