A product of Booker T. Washington High School in Pensacola, Florida, Thomas is rated 3-stars, the No. 58 weak-side defensive end, No. 153 Florida recruit and No. 1,205 prospect overall for the class of 2020 on the 247Sports Composite. Thomas chose Arkansas over an offer from Colorado State.

Thomas shared his announcement while on UA campus for an official visit:

Thomas is commitment No. 14 in Arkansas’ 2020 class, with 5 already enrolled and an additional 4 signed during the Early Signing Period. The Razorbacks also added transfer CB Jerry Jacobs.
