Terry Wilson likely didn’t need any extra motivation heading into the 2020 college football season but the Kentucky quarterback received some all the same thanks to the SEC Network.

For some reason, the league’s official television network thought it would be a good idea to post a video on Twitter featuring Wilson getting hit several times while playing the audio of the viral YouTube video, “back up Terry – what you doing Terry?” but the tweet did not go over well at all with Big Blue Nation.

The SEC Network’s Twitter account deleted the tweet after receiving some backlash from Kentucky fans but that doesn’t mean the video featuring Wilson was going away.

If you missed it, Twitter user BigOrangeVolz captured the video and posted it below:

Not long after Big Blue Nation panned the post, Mark Stoops shared his reaction in a tweet of his own:

“.@secnetwork, 12-3 as a starter?!? Keep putting it in reverse @terrytouchdown3 ! #BringIt,” Stoops said in his tweet.

Not long after that, Wilson responded to his coach.

Wilson then offered up some words for those doubting his comeback, as he continues to rehab from a season-ending injury suffered during the second game of the 2019 season.

Whoever made that post for The SEC Network was likely attempting to make an innocent joke while connecting the viral video to Terry Wilson but may have instead added another chip to the massive boulder on the shoulder of Kentucky’s football program.
