During the 2020 recruiting cycle, 4-star OL Issiah Walker Jr. was the sixth-highest rated player in the Florida class.

However, after he was an early enrollee and arrived on campus in January, it appears his time in Gainesville is already coming to an end.

Per 247Sports, Walker is now in the NCAA transfer portal and is exploring his options:

Florida freshman offensive tackle Issiah Walker Jr. has entered his name into the Transfer Portal as confirmed by 247Sports and is seeking a new home after showing up on campus in Gainesville in January. The four-star tackle, like everyone else has been away from things because of the pandemic, but has decided to look elsewhere.

Where Walker ends up next remains to be seen, but it is certainly strange that he’s leaving before his freshman year even begins.

Walker is a native of Miami. He was previously committed to South Carolina before he ended up signing with Florida during the 2020 cycle.
