After landing an elite recruiting class, Eric Musselman’s program has issued another message to the college basketball community with the announcement of a new non-conference series — the Razorbacks have no fear hitting the road for a big-time challenge.

Arkansas and Oklahoma are now set to face off December 12, 2020, at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla.

That matchup will be the first matchup of two on the books — with the possibility of adding two more games to the series. The two programs will face off once again in Tulsa on Dec. 11, 2021. If the two meet up for a third and/or fourth time, December of 2022 and 2023 are the current target dates for those matchups.

“I have tremendous respect for (Oklahoma) head coach Lon Kruger and the Sooner basketball program,” said Arkansas head coach Eric Musselman. “We are also appreciative of the city of Tulsa and the BOK Center. This is a great game for both programs and Tulsa is the perfect neutral-site location. Not only will it be exciting for the region, this is the type of game that will draw national exposure. We feel like this will be a great experience for both our student-athletes and fans, while the environment versus a premier program from one of the top power conferences will help us in SEC play and beyond.”

Arkansas holds the all-time edge against Oklahoma with a 16-12 record.
