College football is a huge moneymaker for the bigger schools around the country, including throughout the SEC.

The money from football often pays for the other sports an athletic department operates, so making sure there’s a football season is a top priority.

Even Florida baseball coach Kevin O’Sullivan, who runs a very successful program, knows the school needs football to come back, as he said on “The Paul Finebaum Show” on Tuesday:

Florida baseball is very popular, but football still makes a lot more money with TV deals, attendance and more.

How soon can football return? Fortunately for O’Sullivan and coaches in non-revenue sports everywhere, momentum is building for a return to football.
