Auburn’s momentum on the recruiting trail continues to pick up as Gus Malzahn’s program just landed another commitment from a four-star prospect. This time, the Tigers have once again reached into North Shore High School to land a commitment.

Not long after landing a commitment from four-star quarterback Dematrius Davis, the Tigers have just secured a commitment from North Shore’s best offensive lineman as Jaeden Roberts announced his commitment to Malzahn’s program on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-5, 340-pound Roberts is rated as a four-star prospect, the No. 8 offensive guard in the country and a top 150 overall prospect nationally in the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings. Auburn beat out Alabama, Arkansas, LSU, Baylor and Oklahoma State for the four-star lineman from Houston.

Following Roberts’ commitment, the Tigers now hold pledges from nine prospects in the 2021 recruiting cycle. The offensive lineman’s commitment also elevates Auburn’s recruiting class to No. 20 nationally, up from No. 24 prior to his pledge.

Prior to playing for North Shore, Roberts played at Saint Thomas Aquinas High School in Overland Park, Kansas. Here’s a look at his 2018 season highlight reel with Saint Thomas Aquinas:
