Former Georgia QB Jake Fromm has been mired in controversy this week after text messages surfaced where he mentions making gun suppressors expensive so only “elite white people” can afford them.

That prompted former Georgia WR Terry Godwin to say he’d “lost all respect” for Fromm. It appears Godwin isn’t the only former Bulldog upset with Fromm.

On Saturday, former Georgia defender Davin Bellamy took to Twitter to say he always preferred Jacob Eason over Fromm:

Eason was Georgia’s starting quarterback in 2016. He started in 2017, too, but was injured in Week 1, after which Fromm took over and led the Bulldogs to the title game.

Fromm has issued an apology, but as Buffalo Bills OC Brian Daboll said, he has a lot of work to do to mend fences between himself and his current and former teammates.
