The Ole Miss Rebels are losing star point guard Breein Tyree heading into the 2020-21 season, so they have a key position to fill in the backcourt.

Now, it appears they’ll have another opening to fill in the starting lineup, as a 2-year starter has reportedly entered the NCAA transfer portal.

As you can see below, AL.com reporter Matt Zenitz tweeted that guard Blake Hinson would explore transfer options:

This past season, Hinson appeared in 28 games for the Rebels, starting 27 of them. He averaged 10.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest.

Where Hinson ends up for the 2020-21 season remains to be seen, but this leaves coach Kermit Davis with another hole to fill moving forward.
