If you missed it this offseason, the NCAA amended its rules and will allow football players to wear the No. 0 jersey moving forward.

When that happened, suddenly the No. 0 jersey became a hot item all around the country and it was easy to guess some of the best players in the nation would be the first to wear the number for their respective schools.

Well, that turned out to be the case at Auburn as the Tigers recently revealed sophomore linebacker Owen Pappoe will be No. 0 next season. Last season, Pappoe wore No. 10.

Pappoe started every single game of his true freshman season and made 49 tackles for the Tigers.

Now the centerpiece of Kevin Steele’s defense on The Plains, look for No. 0 to be in the center of the field making plays all season long.
