Alabama fans that can’t get enough of Tua Tagovailoa are in luck as FOX Sports will soon be releasing a documentary series on the quarterback’s journey as he begins his NFL career.

The Miami Dolphins selected Tua with the No. 5 overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft and now fans will have the opportunity to join Tagovailoa’s journey into the NFL thanks to FOX Sports.

The series, titled “Tua,” is set to debut on Sept. 6 at 4 p.m. ET on FOX. The series will be eight episodes in length and will feature interviews with Nick Saban, Alabama team orthopedic surgeon Dr. Lyle Cain, as well as former NFL quarterbacks Trent Dilfer and Steve Young. Dilfer has notably trained Tua since the QB’s high school days.

“I’m excited about this film for a variety of reasons, but mainly because it represents the deep love and appreciation that I have for my culture, my faith and, more importantly, my family,” Tagovailoa said in an interview with Variety. “I am extremely proud of this project and the efforts it took to get here. I look forward to sharing it with everyone.”

The show will cover not only football but Tagovailoa’s life outside the game as well as his rehab efforts following his season-ending injury last fall suffered in November.
