Prior to the 2019 season, former Tennessee QB Josh Dobbs was traded from the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Dobbs spent the 2019 season with the Jaguars, where he served as the backup to Gardner Minshew II and Nick Foles.

However, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Dobbs will now try to find a new team prior to the 2020 season, as the Jaguars released him during roster cuts on Saturday:

As Rapoport mentions, the Jaguars could bring back Mike Glennon or Dobbs once they figure out the rest of their roster, but for now, Dobbs is on the market.

Dobbs appeared in 5 games for the Steelers in 2018, completing 6 of his 12 passes for 43 yards and 1 interception.
