Rodrigo Blankenship drills his first field goal attempt for the Indianapolis Colts
It’s never easy to replace a legend, but that’s what former Georgia kicker Rodrigo Blankenship will try to do this fall.
After signing with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent this offseason, the popular former Bulldog won the starting job to replace the legendary Adam Vinatieri.
He got off to a good start against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, drilling a 38-yard field goal before halftime:

He missed a 30-yard attempt in the third quarter, which isn’t great, but so far, the Colts still hold a 17-14 lead.
If this game stays close, Blankenship will likely play a part late. We’ll see if he’s up to the task.
