When the Jacksonville Jaguars released former LSU star RB Leonard Fournette before the 2020 season, it didn’t take long for him to end up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Now, he’s with a team led by legendary QB Tom Brady, and things are off to a good start on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.

As you can see below, a 1-yard touchdown run by Fournette — his first with the Bucs — gave Tampa Bay a 21-0 lead late in the second quarter:

Fournette is splitting work with Ronald Jones and LeSean McCoy in Tampa Bay. What role he carves out for himself remains to be seen.

His strength around the goal line is already proving to be an asset, though.
