Former Mississippi State S Johnathan Abram was a first-round pick of the now-Las Vegas Raiders in the 2019 NFL Draft. However, he missed the year with an injury.
On Monday night, the Raiders opened their new Las Vegas stadium on Monday Night Football against the New Orleans Saints and it was almost a disaster for Abram.
As you can see in the video below, there was a play on the sideline where Abram had a scary collision with a camera cart and was down for a long time:
I really hope Johnathan Abram’s is okay.

Abram eventually got up and ran off the field under his own power. He eventually returned to the game, as well.
However, it will probably be worth looking into whether we need cameras that close to the field or not moving forward. That seems like a serious injury waiting to happen.
