The Missouri Tigers didn’t look great against Alabama in the season opener, but that will probably be the case for nearly all of Alabama’s opponents this year.

QB Shawn Robinson played decently well in his first start, making some big plays and throwing a touchdown pass to Tyler Badie.

However, according to Mizzou RB Larry Rountree III, we’re just getting started seeing what Robinson can do. He even went as far as to compare Robinson to Kansas City Chiefs superstar QB Patrick Mahomes:

That’s obviously a strong comparison, as Mahomes led the Chiefs to the Super Bowl last season and is widely considered one of the best players in the NFL.

But, Mahomes didn’t become a superstar until he got to the pros. Maybe Robinson can develop like that, too? Rountree is certainly confident in him.
