The New Orleans Saints have been barred from hosting fans at Mercedes-Benz Superdome this season, and it appears that will be the case for the foreseeable future. On Tuesday, a Saints official announced that the team was set to open discussions with LSU to potentially play at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge.

If Baton Rouge doesn’t work, how about Oxford, Mississippi?

Tuesday’s news didn’t keep Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin poking a little fun at the situation, and he tweeted a message to the Saints that Vaught-Hemingway Stadium was certainly an option.

And the idea received a pretty high-profile endorsement from a Rebels great.

Whatever LSU and the Saints decide—and it’s certainly a possibility that the Saints are playing hardball with the city of New Orleans to force it to allow fans—there’s time for things to get resolved. The Saints are on a bye this Sunday, set to host the Carolina Panthers on Oct. 25.
