Georgia star WR George Pickens was spotted in a black non-contact practice jersey earlier this week, but coach Kirby Smart sounded confident Pickens would be able to play against Kentucky on Saturday.

However, that doesn’t seem to be the case, as Pickens is reportedly out against the Wildcats.

Per DawgNation.com, Pickens didn’t even make the trip to Lexington as he deals with what is being called an “upper body injury”:

Georgia football receiver George Pickens didn’t travel with the team to Kentucky on account of an upper body injury, DawgNation has learned.

So far this season, Pickens has 13 catches for 140 yards and 2 touchdowns.

How will his absence hurt the Dawgs against Kentucky’s stout defense?
