There’s been plenty of reaction from across the college football world regarding the ugly halftime fight between Florida and Missouri on Saturday.

After Gators quarterback Kyle Trask sustained a heavy hit just before the break, the teams erupted in a wild tussle at midfield as 3 players in total were ejected.

Some of the remarks in the aftermath were made by one of the greatest running backs in NCAA history. Reggie Bush, the former Southern Cal star that is now a broadcaster with FOX Sports, was certainly not shy about how he felt.

“That was a dirty hit,” said Bush, according to 247Sports. “And he took a running start too, he was watching Trask the whole time, hit him right in the face. I loved the way Dan Mullen responds like this because this shows me Dan Mullen cares about his players. Obviously we never want to see it get to this point with a fight, but these players had every right to respond like this.

“You hit our quarterback in the face like this, you’re gonna catch hell from us. If that happened to Matt Leinart at USC, we would’ve responded the same way.”
