Fans blast ESPN's Dan Orlovsky for saying Mac Jones won't be a good NFL QB
Alabama is trouncing Arkansas on Saturday afternoon, so the ESPN broadcasters are looking for anything interesting to talk about.
Much to the dismay of Alabama fans, that topic has become QB Mac Jones’s NFL Draft stock. Broadcaster Dan Orlovsky spent a long portion of the second half discussing why he doesn’t think Jones will be a good NFL quarterback.
Naturally, that drew plenty of criticism from Alabama fans on social media. Below, you can see a sampling of some of the Twitter reaction to Orlovsky’s comments:

Dan Orlovsky’s fav QB is Carson Wentz. He needs to SHUT his mouth about Mac Jones in the NFL. #RollTide pic.twitter.com/npgVG5XVbc

Dan Orlovsky trying to say that Mac Jones won't work in the NFL like he wasn't trying to say Jake Fromm was QB1 during a 3 int game against South Carolina last year

Out of all the NFL QBs to compare Mac Jones to, Dan Orlovsky picked Matt Ryan ?

Jones is considered one of the Heisman frontrunners, so his play this season is speaking for itself. Jones will focus on winning a national title first, then he’ll turn his attention to potentially entering the 2021 NFL Draft.
