Ready for change? Tennessee fans call for Jeremy Pruitt to be fired after lopsided loss to Texas A&M
The Tennessee Volunteers finished the regular season with a 3-7 record after Saturday’s 34-13 loss to No. 5 Texas A&M.
After hanging tough for much of the first half, the Vols didn’t score in the second half as the Aggies pulled away to stay in College Football Playoff contention. Meanwhile, the Vols have another double-digit loss on their resume.
After the game, Tennessee fans flocked to Twitter to express their frustration with coach Jeremy Pruitt. Many fans called for him to be fired:

Talent wise, I felt this game was winnable and it was. Jeremy Pruitt urinated down his leg this afternoon. No fight, no effort, no chance to win. #ChooseJoy

Jeremy Pruitt has had three years. In year three, Tennessee football is closer to the bottom of the SEC than it is to the top. And NCAA investigators are circling. It’s time for him to go and give someone else a chance to revive this program.

Will someone please fire Jeremy Pruitt?

You have to fire Pruitt, we got guys laughing on the sideline as we’re down by 3 TDs and have given up. This is year 3, this is unacceptable for this once great program and we as fans deserve better

Fulmer should meet Pruitt at the 50 with a mic hooked to the stadium PA system… Fire Pruitt and announce his own resignation effective immediately….

You can't seriously keep Pruitt another year, right?? This should be an easy decision.

The Vols built some serious momentum in the second half of last season. However, that momentum came to a screeching halt after Week 2 of the 2020 season.
Will Tennessee make a move? We’ll see what happens on Sunday.
