Just when you didn’t think things could get any more promising for Sam Pittman’s Arkansas program, the Razorbacks got some good news heading into Thursday’s Texas Bowl matchup with TCU.

If you somehow missed the news, First-Team All-SEC linebacker Grant Morgan, starting left tackle Myron Cunningham, starting right guard Ty Clary, receiver De’Vion Warren, tight end Blake Kern and running back TJ Hammond have all announced their decisions to return in 2021.

Now comes the news that incoming transfer receiver Jaquayln Crawford will be eligible to play against TCU in the Texas Bowl.

Sam Pittman announced the news during his Monday press conference.

“He is going to play,” Pittman shared. “We got that exciting news last weekend, or this past weekend, I think maybe on Friday or something. He’ll be able to play and we are going to use him. He’s a talent, he’s done really good down on the scout team, really good attitude. He’s in shape and he’s available and we’re going to use him.”

Crawford made the decision to transfer to Arkansas during the previous offseason from Oklahoma but has not yet played for the Razorbacks due to NCAA transfer rules.

A native of Rockdale, Texas, Crawford was regarded as a four-star prospect in the 2018 recruiting cycle. He signed with Oklahoma over scholarship offers from Auburn, Georgia and Notre Dame.
