The Georgia Bulldogs had an elite defense in 2020. A big reason for their success on that side of the ball was the secondary, but star CBs Eric Stokes and Tyson Campbell, along with S Richard LeCounte III, are heading to the 2021 NFL Draft.

Now, the Dawgs will have some more attrition in the secondary, as CB Tyrique Stevenson is entering the NCAA transfer portal.

As you can see below, AL.com’s Matt Zenitz took to Twitter on Monday evening to break that news:

Stevenson finished fifth on the Bulldogs with 34 tackles in 2020. He had 5 pass breakups and 1 of his tackles went for a loss.

Stevenson was a 5-star recruit in the 2019 class. Per 247Sports, he was the No. 2 cornerback in the class and the No. 3 overall recruit from the state of Florida.

Where he ends up next remains to be seen.
