Report: New Auburn assistant coach expected to leave for NFL job
The Auburn Tigers recently hired DL coach Tracy Rocker away from the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Now, it seems the Auburn alum could be on the move once again before he ever coaches a game at his alma mater.
Per Yahoo’s Pete Thamel, the Philadelphia Eagles are targeting Rocker for their DL coach opening. And, per Thamel, Rocker is indeed expected to make the jump to the pro ranks:
Sources: The Philadelphia Eagles have targeted Auburn's Tracy Rocker to be the new defensive line coach. He's expected to join Jonathan Gannon's defensive staff in Philadelphia.

Rocker coached at Tennessee from 2017-19 before making the jump to South Carolina in 2020. He had previously coached defensive line at Auburn from 2009 to 2010.
Will he remain in the pro ranks for very long? We’ll see what happens as the Eagles continue to put together a new coaching staff.
