Texas A&M already lost the opportunity to host Colorado during the 2020 college football season, after both the Southeastern Conference and Pac-12 switched to conference-only schedules, and now it turns out the Aggies won’t be traveling to Boulder, either.

But don’t worry, we haven’t lost the Texas A&M vs. Colorado game set to be played in 2021, it’s just changed locations.

Instead of rescheduling the home-and-home series, Texas A&M and Colorado are now set to meet in Denver on Sept. 11. The game will now be played at Empower Field’s Mile High Stadium in Denver, home of the Denver Broncos.

The matchup was previously scheduled to be played on that same date at Folsom Field in Boulder.

The 2020 matchup will not be rescheduled. Texas A&M officially announced this news on Monday.

Following this news, here is an updated look at Texas A&M’s non-conference schedule for the 2021 season:

  • Sept. 4: vs. Kent State at Kyle Field
  • Sept. 11: vs. Colorado at Empower Field (Denver)
  • Sept. 18: vs. New Mexico at Kyle Field
  • Nov. 20: vs. Prairie View A&M at Kyle Field

The SEC has yet to finalize its conference schedule for the 2020 season. Texas A&M is scheduled to host Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi State and South Carolina and travel to LSU, Missouri and Ole Miss, in addition to a trip to Arlington to play Arkansas.

The dates for the SEC games will be announced at a later date.
