If you recall, it wasn’t that long ago some were calling the schedule Arkansas had to face in 2020 the toughest schedule of all time after the SEC switched to an all-conference slate.

Even AD Hunter Yurachek suggested as much leading up to the debut of the Sam Pittman era.

While many were quick to poke fun at the Razorbacks and predict an 0-10 season was coming, it took just two games for Arkansas to win a game and two more wins quickly followed (three if you believe the referees blew the call at the end of the Auburn game).

Safe to say Arkansas knows how to deal with a tough hand that can come with SEC scheduling.

That’s good, because ESPN’s updated Football Power Index claims the Razorbacks are facing the toughest schedule in the country next season.

If you haven’t seen it, here is the 2020 schedule for Arkansas:

  • vs. Rice
  • vs. Texas
  • vs. Georgia Southern
  • vs. Texas A&M (Arlington)
  • at Georgia
  • at Ole Miss
  • vs. Auburn
  • vs. Arkansas Pine Bluff (Little Rock)
  • Bye Week
  • vs. Mississippi State
  • at LSU
  • at Alabama
  • vs. Missouri

That’s a tough slate but ESPN’s FPI ranks it as the most challenging in the nation.

Here is a look at the “remaining schedule strength” of all 14 SEC teams according to ESPN’s FPI:

#1 Arkansas

#2 Auburn

#7 LSU

#9 Ole Miss

#13 Alabama

#14 Mississippi State

#16 South Carolina

#21 Tennessee

#22 Georgia
