Georgia S Mark Webb started out his career as a wide receiver before making the switch to defense.

He’s been flying under the radar as a key member of Georgia’s secondary the past couple of years, but that’s just fine by him. He might not hear his name called during the 2021 NFL Draft, but he’ll continue working hard to make sure he gets an opportunity at the next level.

So, who does he study when he watches NFL film? During a Q&A session with The Spun, Webb named 4 safeties he likes to watch:

I like watching Tyrann Mathieu, Jeremy Chinn and Jamal Adams because they play the game with high energy. Another player who I like to watch is Budda Baker. Regardless of size, if you’re a dog, you’re a dog. It’s a natural thing that’s in you. Those players resemble things I want to be when I get to the NFL.

Where will he end up going? Will he hear his name called in a late round of the draft? Or, will he sign on with a team as an undrafted free agent?

We’ll find out soon enough. From there, Webb will continue to work hard to make his mark on the game of football.
