Terrance Brooks, a 4-star cornerback out of Plano, Texas (John Paul II), has announced his top 5 schools, and all but two of them hail from the SEC.

Brooks, who is 5-foot-11 and 190 pounds, has 37 offers, and is rated the No. 10 cornerback in the Class of 2022 and the No. 16 player in Texas, according to the 247Sports Composite. Brooks’ top 5 is Texas A&M, Oregon, Texas, Florida and Alabama.

Gigem247 reported that Brooks plans to make a decision towards the middle of the summer. Brooks is the son of Texas A&M legend Chet Brooks, who was inducted into the Aggie Athletics Hall of Fame in 2012.

“School wise I’m looking for a good education. Because for school I’m trying to go for biology, biomedical engineering, and I started like studying in businesses and stuff so it’s that stuff,” Brooks said, per GigEm247. “Football-wise look forward to starting as soon as I get as a freshman but there’s no promises. I got to go out there and dominate on the field.”

Brooks described his relationship with the Aggies coaching staff.

“Really good relationship,” Brooks told GigEm247 earlier this spring. “Really like coach (TJ Rushing), we’ve been building a relationship the most. I’m talking to him the most. Coach (Jimbo) Fisher really like him we’ve been doing that too. Getting on Zooms, talking about football, talking about the school in general, how good the campus is, and how good the football program is.”
