The Tennessee defense has a few holes it needs to fill before the 2021 season kicks off in a few short months.

On Monday night, the Vols added a player who could contribute right away this fall, a late addition to the 2021 class.

As you can see below, JUCO CB Roterius Torrence has committed to Tennessee, where he figures to be eligible to play right away this season:

Torrence has yet to be rated by the major recruiting services, but he’ll be counted on to contribute to the Tennessee secondary right away this fall.

The Vols now have 18 players in their 2021 recruiting class, including 11 who have already enrolled. The class currently ranks No. 22 in the nation and No. 8 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
